Yes. B2B Onboard works on all Shopify plans — Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. On Plus, you get automatic B2B company and catalog assignment on approval. On other plans, customers are created with configurable tags for use with pricing apps.
Does B2B Onboard modify my theme?
No. B2B Onboard uses Shopify's App Proxy to serve registration forms. Nothing is injected into your theme files — no JavaScript, no Liquid snippets, no script tags. When you uninstall, nothing is left behind.
How does VAT validation work?
EU VAT numbers are validated in real time against the VIES database during registration. UK, US, Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian tax IDs are validated by format. Valid EU VAT numbers can trigger auto-approval so verified businesses skip the manual review queue.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
B2B Onboard is fully GDPR compliant. On uninstall, all customer data and uploaded documents are redacted within 30 days. Data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt) with 7-year audit log retention. A full DPA is available on request.
Can I have different forms for different customer types?
Yes. You can create multiple registration forms — for example, one for wholesale customers, one for resellers, and one for trade accounts. Each form can have different fields, different approval workflows, and different customer tags. Ready-made templates are available to get started quickly.
